15: The number of days since my last post.
1: Pair of sneakers returned. I talked about my new kicks in last post. I woke up on the Friday following that purchase at a ninety degree angle. Something was wrong with my back. I’m assuming it was some sort of injury and blame it on the new sneakers, since those were the only things that were different in my activity. So I called Fleet Feet, went in with my sneakers (and receipt) later that day, and explained my issues (hurt back, new brand of sneakers). They replaced them with a new pair of my usual, Brooks Addiction. And I got $10 back! I highly recommend going to Fleet Feet, having them fit you (which I did a few years ago when I first got the Brooks), and once you find something that works for you, stick with it!
09/09/09: Today! It’s Beatles day! Do you all remember when I said that today is the day that I would go (even more) broke? (My exact words were “9/9/09: The Day I Will Go Even Broker Than Broke.”) Actually, turns out I’m not just beyond broke, but also sans box set, since everywhere I went was sold out. Blurg. I’m looking into ordering it and then waiting (impatiently) for a few weeks until it arrives. So far, cheapest price is at Amazon.com. I best get on that.
1: Speech from President Obama about health care.
60: The number of days’ notice (from September 1st) that we had to give our landlord to get out of our lease.
16: The house number we’ll be returning to (hi there, Mama!) if we don’t find an affordable place that isn’t a dump before the end of October.
20: The number of pounds I’ve needed to lose for years now. (about)4.25: The number of miles I ran yesterday. (about)4.25 million pounds: The amount of food I consumed yesterday. And yet I still wonder why I can’t lose the weight.
2,583: I have at least that many more things to say, but I must get ready for bed.
