I’ve gotten behind on my blogging again. As usual. It’s been such a busy summer! Last weekend, another one of our cousins from Israel came with her family to get the kids’ citizenship completed and to visit with the family. I’ve really enjoyed spending time with all of my cousins have come here, and I wish we lived closer so we could do that more than once every eight years (or eighteen years or twenty-something years). My mom keeps saying that she’d like to take a family trip to Israel for her 60th birthday. I’m worried about my flight to Florida this weekend, so I don’t know how I’d handle a trip to Israel. But we’ll see what happens!

So that’s what I’ve been up to: visiting with family. And as I mentioned, I’m off to Florida this weekend to see the southern nephew, JP, who is growing up way too fast; he’ll be a year old in a few weeks! Speaking of visiting family, here are some more photos from my visit with First in NYC:

It’s the weekend; First and Last Weekend, that is! And that’s us. And yikes.

A banana tree in New York City! Yes, I know it’s fake.

gertrude-b-park

Shouldn’t that say Gertrude Bohm Kamp Playground? Yeeeaaaaaah, she’s no doctor with a fancy park named after her.

I totally should’ve gotten this shirt:

This ad for Tony Danza is brought to you by the Bower Agency.

Instead, I wore this shirt:

It says “I’d Rather Be Listening To McCartney.” Indeed. Always.

And so we did. We listened to that guy.

Amazing.
