We've asked for it to be replaced because it also sucks. It's on the list of complaints; since they can't replace parts from it, we've suggested they replace the whole thing. We were able to clean everything pretty easily (easily meaning nothing was so covered that it was ruined; it wasn't easy, though, as it took hours, it was gross, and I hate cleaning as it is). Welcome to the world of unwanted dirty water - all over everything!! Remember the pre-Passover flood from the Gallo pool? We were lucky we weren't electrocuted in that one. Or the one from the ice maker all over the cedar closet where we lost tons of treasures I was saving since I was a kid? Or the one where the basement was covered in mud from the crawl space? Or the one from the hot water heater exploding all over the basement? Or the one from the washing machine hose popping? I think there were a few more times that the sump pump overflowed. Too many unpleasant dirty memories. But we Shor women are tough - we survive! My poor babies.
