Happy birthday to Mama! I like that you slipped her birth date into the list.
I’ve never heard of the movie before…and I am intrigued and frightened all at once.

You’re welcome, Mama! I’m also looking forward to brunch, the best meal to eat out! We love brunch in this family, folks.
Liz, I can’t believe you never heard of The Bad Seed! Not only was it such a fantastic movie (of course I’m not being sarcastic), but the play was referenced in one of my favorite quotes from Cheers. And UH (my uncle who saw every movie) had told me that it was a classic. When it first came out, there was a disclaimer on the film telling people not to ruin the ending. And he said it was great! And he wasn’t being sarcastic. I think he meant for its time, really.

#1…if I know Mama well, and I think I do, you are included in her “thank you children” message. That is your distinction now. And Mama really does not like that movie…however, whenever it was on, we never turned it off. It did give us a good laugh, though.

#1 b-i-l, I think McCulkin was in a movie called The Bad Son with Elijah Wood. Did you read my comment above about it being referred to on Cheers (by Rebecca and Lilith)? Anyway, I don’t know what Miriam’s talking about; Mama LOVES that movie!

I think it’s The Good Son, and I am not able to italicize.
And I think my mother’s son-in-law meant someone “remarkable” was left off the list, which he wasn’t.
