Happy birthday, Sam! Today is my brother’s 37th birthday. I hope you’re having a great day, Sam. He’s celebrating in Israel; being there is probably the only present he wants (I hope, since I didn’t actually get him anything).

And, of course, today is Paul McCartney’s birthday! Paul turns 66 today. He played a free concert in Kiev the other night. The most exciting part (obviously not too exciting, since I wasn’t there) is that he played a song at the fans’ request: Mrs. Vandebilt (from the album Band on the Run, which is actually credited to Paul McCartney & Wings). That never happens. If it did, there would be a lot more Wings and solo songs played at his concert.
