Or mine. As if it being 95 degrees isn’t enough, it’s oppressively humid outside. It’s so humid, in fact, that it’s hard for me to step outside without my lungs feeling like they’re about to burst (”America or burst!” Five points to anyone who gets that reference…except for Miriam, who knows why I always say that and laugh when someone says the word “burst”). So much for exercising out there after work. However, today, I went for a run BEFORE work! That’s right. I was out there at 6:40 this morning, running and sweating. Because then it was only 72 degrees and oppressively humid. Suck on that, ass-mar!
In other (much more exciting) news, Miriam and I traveled to Toronto last weekend to meet The Duck. She’s a beautiful little duckling, who enjoys being held. And enjoys eating. And pooping. A good little Duck. The Pie took to her immediately, hugging and kissing her. The Crazy Guy ignored her for a few days, but I guess he now realizes she’s not going back where she came from and is showing some interest. What a happy family! I can’t wait to see them again when they come to visit in a few weeks. Until then, I only have pictures*:

*I promised my sister a long time ago that I wouldn’t post the kids’ photos on my blog. These will have to do.

Fabulous pictures, Sara. They are so cute (in real, that is).
Wish me luck on my outdoor walking field trip tomorrow. Should be fun (and sweaty).

Did you perhaps see a bumper sticker with a typo? That looks like the kind of typo you might laugh at hysterically. And possibly I would too, because I am a nerd. I actually just deleted one of my own comments on another blog because it had a typo. What a freak I am.

No, that wasn’t a bumper sticker. If no one else guesses (or knows it) soon, I’ll tell you what it is. But I would definitely laugh at typos on bumper stickers because that’s the kind of person I am, too: a nerd. Speaking of bumper stickers, ever see the one that reads “Bush ‘08?” So hilarious for so many reasons.

Or is it Balki?
America or Burst!

It’s Balki Bartokomous (according to imdb)! Don’t be ridiculous! (For those still following but not understanding, “America or burst!” was written on Balki’s sign during the opening credits of the TV show Perfect Strangers. I’ll try to remember to post that when I get home from work; I’m sure it’s on You Tube. Remember when shows used to have a theme song and opening credits?)

Since Balki commented, now I can, too! I was banned from the contest. America or burst!

Oh, MAN! I’m so disappointed I missed your “America or Burst!” contest. I loved that show. LOVED. I even remember the Dance of Joy.
