OK, I get it. Most of you don’t want to answer a survey. That’s fine. Instead of waiting for more answers, I thought I’d update you on my human behavior study: still not a lot of friendliness while I run. But I have seen a few interesting folks on my street.

I didn’t see anyone famous today. But when I was walking up my street to warm up, I saw a man who looked familiar coming down the street (he may very well live in my building; I’m not sure). He looked at me and said, “That ponytail is workin’!” I was walking fast, so my ponytail was bouncing all around. Usually, I would be weirded out by someone saying something like that. But he was friendly and smiling, so I liked him. And I laughed. Good work, man! I knew people could be friendly. (I didn’t expect Phil Spector to be friendly, by the way, but Chong? You’d think THAT guy would have a smile on his face! Not so much.)

That has got to be one of the best pick-up lines ever. Except, how the hell do you respond to that? If you had wanted to, I mean.

It wasn’t a pick-up line, really! He was just being friendly! But, just in case, perhaps I’ll wear my hair in a bun today. Or I’ll put on a hat.

Ha! He does have Phil Spector hair! Would you please get it cut already? If it’s not cut by the time I get there, the little guy will have new bangs: auntie style.

Phil Spector looks like one of those dandelion weeds you want to blow.
I promise to never, ever use “Phil Spector” and “blow” in the same sentence ever again.

Seriously. That’s just wrong.

Welcome back to me, after a one week hiatus from the Internet. I know you missed me!
I never would even THINK of using those two words in a sentence together, EVER!
And the little guy needs to be pruned. Just a little, because his hair provides character.
