I’ve been meaning to post a link to a great site (now added to my blogroll as well): Scrubya. My coworker told me about this site, since it’s his sister’s, and he knew I’d like it (being a proud liberal who’s devastated by the mess Bush has made of our country…and world). She makes soaps, and all proceeds go to organizations that are cleaning up after Bush and company. Or, as she says, Dubya and company. Hence the name, “Scrubya.” It’s genius. Please check out her fantastic site (and feel free to send me a few bars; more specifically, I’d like to try the Smell the Damn Coffee! scent).

And just a quick update: I spoke with Miriam this morning, and she’s feeling “a lot better.”
