That may not sound like anything special. However, I think this computer has spent more time during the last few months in Acer’s repair center than in my house. I’ve had this computer for less than a year. It crapped out on me a few months ago and hasn’t been the same since. But this time they replaced the mainboard (again) and both sticks of RAM; since fixing the RAM kept coming up in my research of the errors my computer was displaying, I’m hoping this is the answer. So far, so good: I got the computer back yesterday afternoon, and I haven’t had any errors show up yet! Last time I got it back, I got an error the first night. This is exciting!
On a completely unrelated note, I’d like to address something that came up in my previous post and the comments that followed. For anyone who was thinking of sending me some freelance proofreading, I have something to tell you: I am a good proofreader. I’m very good at my job. I swear. It’s true.

Hi all. Work has been pretty hectic of late. I am working 11-12 hours on a regular basis the last few weeks. Its a bit exhausting - but I am looking forward to a day off (today) so that I can catch up on a few things (like posting to this blog). I went out to dinner last night with a few friends - a new italian restaurant that is in the spot where the kosher restaurant Domani used to be (it closed because of increased rent). The food was very good but the service was a bit slow. I think there was one waiter/maitre d’ and possibly cook working. It was nice to catch up with family and friends over the Rosh and Yom. Happy Sukkot to all!

Thanks for posting, Miriam and Lil. I’m off to start preparing for the wedding this evening. I have to write out the card, print out directions (I don’t know how to get there!), and then figure out what I’m going to wear. Not fun.
