I’m still on vacation (well, sort of; I’m now doing laundry, but I didn’t work today). I extended my Labor Day weekend by a day so I could spend some time with the niece and nephew. We had a fun weekend: We went out to dinner, we picked fruits and vegetables at a farm, and we took a few long walks. We basically hung out, but we enjoyed ourselves.

My favorite sign on the farm. You can’t take a proofreader anywhere.

In other exciting news, Miriam flew to Toronto to join in our family fun! She was released from the hospital on Sunday and is feeling great. We’re so happy that she’s found some relief from her pain. Just don’t ask her how she’s feeling. She’s tired of that question, apparently, and she certainly won’t tell you what number her pain is on the scale of 1-5 (1!).

Tomorrow, it’s back to work for me. But it’s only a three-day week, and so is next week: Thursday and Friday is Rosh Hashanah! So that’s very exciting. And a topic for another post, so that’s all for tonight.
