OK, so there isn’t too much happening. But here’s what’s been going on since I last posted.
1) Allison’s last day: Allison left work last week. We’ll miss her (well, I shouldn’t speak for everyone else; I’ll miss her). It’s still too sad to talk about. So if anyone asks about Allison, I’ll just say I don’t know who that is, and I don’t care to find out.
2) Bye, family: The family went back to Toronto last Thursday. I miss them so much! Luckily, I have many photos and videos of the kids to enjoy until I see them next.
3) Hi, family: Lil and Noonie came over Friday night for dinner. Lil brought Mickey, too (actually, Mickey brought them, since he picked them up). We had a fun time. Check out Mickey’s site about his new book: www.hauntedbaseball.com.
4) More family time: Miriam and I hung out with Lil and Noonie on Saturday at their house, then went out for dinner at Milano. Delicious!
5) Sunday night, Miriam and I played cards with some friends, and we won money! Yay! Then the biggest happening yet: I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! I read over 250 pages that night, and I was up until a little after 3 a.m., but it was worth it. The book was great; it really tied up all the loose ends, everything came together well, and I’m purposely not saying too much in case someone reading this hasn’t finished the book yet (although I think I was the last one reading it; and who is reading this blog, anyway? Anyone?).
6) Not much has happened since then. I’m still tired from staying up so late. Work should be exciting tomorrow: The New Girl starts. I’m sure she has a name, but I’ll call her The New Girl.
So, what’s been happening with you?

I hope the New Girl is nice. And that she gets a name. A real name, not a nickname, although I guess her nickname is the New Girl. I am glad you finally finished the final Potter epic. I am sorry the Torontonians left before I got home. I was looking forward to seeing them. Not much is new here in NYC.

You had better start caring about who I am, or else I’ll befriend The New Girl and we’ll gang up on you. More importantly, that’s great that you got photos and videos of the family before they left. The video of Roby is the cutest god-forsaken seventeen seconds of my life. DOOO!

I care who you are, Allison, but it’s just too painful. I may need a forget-me-now pill to get through this trying time in my life.

Great post, Sara!
It was a very busy weekend.
Allison, I care who you are. I will make a banner for you and say, “Look at banner, Allison.” You also must remail friends with Sara to hold off her pain. She is lost without you at work.
And don’t worry, Sara. I am still here.

Does “remail friends” mean remain friends by e-mail? Because Allison and I were remaining friends by e-mailing all day today.
