Happy 36th birthday, Sam! Sam is in Israel for a good chunk of the summer, and I’m sure he’s excited that he’s spending his birthday there this year.
And today is also Paul McCartney’s 65th birthday!

He’s jumping out of his chair to tell you to go to memoryalmostfull.com to check out his fantastic new album! Here are some sample lyrics, a nice song in which Paul is reflecting on his life (there’s a clip on the website):
That was me
At the scout camp
In the school play
Spade and bucket
By the sea
That was meThat was me
Playing conkers
At the bus stop
On a blanket
In the bluebells
That was meThe same me that stands here now
And when I think that all this stuff
Can make a life
It’s pretty hard to take it in
That was meWell that was me
Royal Iris
On the river
Merseybeatin’
With the band
That was meThat was me
Sweating cobwebs
Under contract
In the cellar
On TV
That was meThe same me that stands here now
If fate decreed
That all of this
Would make a lifetime
Who am I to disagree
That was meThat was me
Acapella
At the altar
In the middle
Of the picture
That was meThat was me
At the party
Sweating cobwebs
In a cellar
On TV
That was meThe same me that stands here now
And when I think that all this stuff
Can make a life
It’s pretty hard to take it inThat was me
That was me
