But I care. And it’s my blog.

“It was forty years ago today…” (June 1st, that is) that The Beatles released the album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. It’s considered one of the most, if not the most, influential album in rock history. Go to The Beatles’ new site in honor of this anniversary.
And next week, I’ll be celebrating another great musical event:

Paul McCartney’s new album, Memory Almost Full will be released on Tuesday, June 5th. Go to Paul’s Memory Almost Full site to hear some clips and see some pictures.
I can’t wait until Tuesday! But in the meantime, I’m going to go listen to Sgt. Pepper.

Nice. Would it upset you if I told you I already have the new album? I found it online about 2 weeks ago and it’s better than Chaos & Creation…
You wont be dissapointed

No, I wouldn’t be upset! A lot of people on my McCartney mailing lists have downloaded it and said the same thing. I’ve been trying to hold off so I can listen to the whole album at once, but I did listen to the clips on the site. And I’m really surprised to hear it’s better than C&C (we’ll have to discuss this after Tuesday!). I really cannot wait!
