That’s my plan for this weekend. Nothing. Monday is Labor Day here in the U.S., and we have the day off from work. So it’s a nice three-day weekend (yes, today is Thursday, I’m getting ahead of myself). But I was just thinking, what am I going to do this weekend? I have no plans. Nothing to do. Nowhere to go. So I’m going to sleep in, get some exercise, leisurely drink my coffee and eat my breakfast while reading the newspaper, and relax. For three days. Sure, I may go out and do some shopping or some other activity. But I don’t have to. “Oh that magic feeling, nowhere to go…”

Here in Canada, it’s “Labour Day.” And celebrate we will, since we love our unions and long weekends.

Hooray for Labor Day - some people have the day off. Not me - have to work. No sleeping in - no leisurely anything for me. But maybe, just maybe Sara will have coffee with me.

funny - the Morgans are usually the ones being lazy on weekends and you all usually have a lot on tap.
This long weekend we’re totally booked.
Going to the ‘Cuse today after work for the weekend to see Liz’s parents. Having a nice dinner out tonight, going to (weather permitting) a baseball game tomorrow, and then a stop at Cooperstown on the way home Sunday.
Should be a fun weekend.

Lady, take the day off. Or work later and leisurely drink coffee with me anyway. Either way, I’m going to enjoy my day off, since I won’t have another one off until the end of November. And I won’t feel bad about it, no way.

I’m gonna go with Sara on this one….this Labor Day is definitely a bum weekend. Speaking of bums…. This week I actually recycled my beer and vodka bottles and the bums took what they wanted and put the rest in the garbage! The nerve…

And bum around is what I did! I really didn’t do much at all, and I’m totally fine with that. I wish I had a bit more time for that. Glad you did the same, Blonde Thing. And damn the bums who garbaged your recycling!
