I hate flying. But today we’re going to Chicago for my cousin Josh’s wedding (congratulations, Josh and Jamie!). Yes, it’s very (very) late. We’ll leave for the airport in about an hour, as we anticipate some extra security checks and so on. Am I ready? Let’s see:

I’m clicking my heels, yet I’m still in Houston. Sad. Enjoy the crusty Dunkin Donuts. Oh yeah, and have fun at the wedding too, I suppose

Erin, we had a great time at the crusty DD today, actually. Not far from the hotel, and sitting at the counter on the stools was just like old times. Heaven. Love it. But wish you were here.

Did you sleep Thursday night? Just spoke with Miriam. Sounds like you are having a good time. Have fun shopping, on the tour amd most of all at the wedding tonight. Take lots of photos.

I forgot to mention that the Merchandise Mart, which I’m sure you saw on the architectural boat tour (largest square footage of any building in the US second to the Pentagon, I believe), is where the CTA used to be. There’s also a Dunkin Donuts inside there
