I’m heading to Syracuse in a few hours to surprise my grandmother for her birthday (see my previous post). I started packing last night after midnight. I woke up around 6:15, went for a walk, refilled the flask, and packed the last of my things. Off we go! First stop: Dunkin’ Donuts. I need coffee. Next stop: Verona! Or probably just Gramma’s. Hope she’s surprised…and happy with it. (I’m bringing my camera, so maybe I’ll post some photos next week!)

Also this weekend: Tomorrow is not only my grandmother’s birthday, but also it’s Eitan’s birthday, as well as Rachel and Eitan’s fifth anniversary. Sunday is Sam’s birthday (35th, if you’re wondering)…and let’s not forget that’s Paul McCartney’s 64th birthday also!
