So, what’s going on with the Dirt Girls, you may ask? Not much, obviously. I got back from my trip to Toronto on Monday. We had a terrible ride up on Friday. It took us almost eight hours to get up there, having to deal with pouring rain, lots of construction, and horrific traffic. My niece and nephew are adorable and fun. It was Roby’s first birthday on Saturday, and he had a joint birthday party with Maya (who will be in Albany for her 3rd birthday on July 4th) on Sunday. They enjoyed (at Maya’s request) star-shaped cupcakes and received just a few presents. Maya loves her babies, and Roby loves his mommy. And everyone loves aunties!

The other Dirt Girl went to a wedding this weekend, as you saw. Otherwise, these girls are tired and seem to have lost their zest for daily posting. But don’t worry, it’s only temporary.

Next up for this girl: A trip to Syracuse this weekend to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday. But it’s a surprise, so don’t tell her!
